Communication skills training

what is a clinical supervisor

Having trouble communicating with a patient, client or colleague? Received a complaint?

Often very minor adjustments to your communication style can make a real difference in practice.

Kāhu Vision offers an initial in-depth assessment of your clinical communication and patient centered skills.  An individualised programme is then created to enhance your communication skills and strategies.

A variety of tools are used including experiential exercises, working with actors, video review, and if requested a workplace visit to directly observe your practice.  Specific, constructive reflective feedback is offered to increase your interpersonal and communication skills.

Exam coaching

Facing a clinical examination can be anxiety provoking and challenging…..need support?

Kāhu Vision offers individual coaching for clinical examinations, including for the RNZCGP PRIMEX examinations. This involves an initial in-depth assessment of your learning needs and a tailored plan to meet those needs.
